Church by the Glades is opening a new location in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Their newest campus will launch weekly services starting on August 7th at 5 pm at First United Methodist Church, 101 SE 3rd Ave, Fort Lauderdale. The Fort Lauderdale campus will feature the creative communication of Pastor David Hughes, as well as an energetic worship experience and programming for children.

“We believe God is calling us to bring the good news about Jesus and His Word to the downtown community in a creative and exciting way” said Mike Critch, FTL campus director.

Jill Auman, pastor at First United Methodist said, “Right now we’re doing shared space with interest in partnering in youth and young adult ministries. The goal is to reach more folks in the younger generation. We are both looking to reach more people for Christ in the Fort Lauderdale community.”

Previously Church by the Glades, whose main campus is in Coral Springs, has held preview services at Parker Playhouse and Huizenga Amphitheater in downtown Fort Lauderdale. This is the beginning of weekly services.
