An outreach discipleship ministry, the 180 Project team has been hosting Church in the Park outreach events on Saturday evenings once a month in the Hollywood Arts Park since April. Initiated by Jerry Vega, Terrance Douglas, Alex Duenas, Andre Carrero and Clayton Van Dyke, the vision behind this outreach is to reach the community of Hollywood with the message of the Gospel at Arts Park in Downtown Hollywood. They have had many ministries partnering with them, including Restoration Outreach Center, Grace and Faith Academy, Christian Worship Outreach Center, The Answer Church, Calvary Chapel Hollywood, Stephens Pantry and Goodnews Apparel Collection just to mention a few. The last Church in the Park was held on June 11.

“The result of doing this outreach is that we have seen souls come to Christ and connected them with our ministry partners for discipleship and accountability. It’s been an experience seeing how the Lord calls them to repentance in the middle of a park,” said Andre Carrero.
