Community Church of God Founding Pastor Dr. James Curtis Eubanks Sr. and his wife of 58 years, Elder Diana O. Eubanks, will retire this August after leading the church and its congregation through steady growth. From seven members in 1983 to over 350 currently, Pastor Eubanks has served God, his people, and the South Florida community for over three decades. Just as he followed the calling of the Lord to start the Community Church of God, he is following the leading of the Lord to retire his position as senior pastor. The finale retirement service will be Sunday, August 28^th at 11 a.m. at Community Church of God, 1300 NW 19^th Ct., Fort Lauderdale. There will also be a 4 p.m. retirement program. All are welcome to attend.

A Gala will also be held in his honor on Saturday, August 27^th at 6 p.m. in the Global Room at First Baptist Fort Lauderdale, 301 E. Broward Blvd, Fort Lauderdale. Please call 954-527-4551 to purchase tickets for the gala.
