As they celebrate their third anniversary, the Downtown Harbor Church Board of Trustees recently announced a change in leadership roles.
Adam Duckworth, a nationally acclaimed author on the subject of volunteering, will be stepping back from the role of Lead Communicator and will be transitioning into his new role as Volunteer Coordinator. This change will also allow Adam to attend to his growing travel business, which increasingly requires travel and extensive time away.
John Garippa will be transitioning into a new role for Downtown Harbor Church as Lead Pastor. They believe his educational background with bachelor degrees in both English and Religion from Wake Forest University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Theology from Knox
Theological Seminary, has prepared him to lead this church into the future. At the same time, John will maintain his previous role as Executive Director of the church running its operations and staff.
