Run for a reason on Saturday, December 9 at 7:30 a.m. during the River Run 5k. Hosted by Spanish River Church, 2400 Yamato Road in Boca Raton, the race was started in 2009 to raise support for local child welfare organizations, such as 4KIDS of South Florida, City House Delray, Place of Hope at the Leighan and David Rinker Campus, and Broward Outreach Center.
