The second annual Comeback Trail 5K event series, hosted by the National Stroke Association, arrives in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, November 11. The Fort Lauderdale 5K Comeback Trail walk and fun-run features a scenic route that will end in Esplanade Park in downtown Fort Lauderdale’s Riverwalk District. The event is open to participants of all abilities and features different paths to accommodate stroke survivors and other attendees in various stages of fitness or recovery. Participants can choose to complete the near-5k trail or choose a shorter loop that suits their fitness level. The Point Sisters will perform on November 4 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club for the 28th Annual Gala for the Chris Evert/Raymond James Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic. The elegant black-tie Gala, which begins at 6:00 PM,  includes dinner, cocktails, dancing, and live and silent auctions. Tickets are $750 per person.
