Feeding South Florida is hosting its A Tarte for Two at its Palm Beach Warehouse, 4925 Park Ridge Blvd, Boynton Beach on August 19 from 2 – 3 p.m.

Summer break is the perfect time to bake something yummy with the kiddos. The community is invited to join Feeding South Florida in its Community Kitchen to learn how to prepare a flaky delicious crust for an apple filling and transform it into a sensational tart. Participants can pair it with ice cream, cheddar cheese or salty caramel for a fabulous addition when they take home their masterpiece for dessert.

Cost: $55 for two (18+ years of age and one minor)

A portion of the proceeds support Feeding South Florida’s mission to end hunger in South Florida by providing immediate access to nutritious food, leading hunger and poverty advocacy efforts and transforming lives through innovative programming and education.
