Samaritan's Purse will be holding National Collection Week from November 14 - 21 as part of Operation Christmas Child. Every year, National Collection Week takes place the third week in November when more than 4,500 drop-off locations are open across the country. It's time to bring in prayerfully packed shoeboxes—each one a tangible expression of God's love and an opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with a child, their family, and community! Big Br0thers Big Sisters of Broward County will be holding its Women on the Verge: Friendsgiving at Piazza Italia 904 E Las Olas Blvd, Fort Lauderdale on November 17 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Have fun with a purpose to ignite the power and promise of every child. Proceeds benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County Scholarship Fund to support college tuition, vocational training and career development. Over $100,000 has been awarded to give young people post-high school opportunities. Prices are $75 for members and $85 for future members.
