Habitat for Humanity of Broward is holding applications for its homeownership program on its website until March 31. The new energy efficient, two-story townhomes will include three to four bedrooms, garages, modern kitchens, landscaped yards, and hurricane impact windows. These locations are close to city centers, schools, churches, recreational and shopping amenities with easy access to transportation and major traffic corridors. The application process has four steps that includes a pre-qualification questionnaire, orientation, financial analysis review and face-to-face interview. Care for Kids Luncheon

ChildNet will be holding its Care for Kids Luncheon at the Woodfield Country Club, 3650 Club Pl, Boca Raton on February 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Care for Kids Luncheon will honor Dr. Heidi Schaeffer. All proceeds raised will provide ChildNet with the flexibility to prioritize the needs of our children, youth, and caregivers and take advantage of opportunities that arise and react to unforeseen challenges.
