Habitat for Humanity of Broward is holding applications for its homeownership program on its website until March 31. The new energy efficient, two-story townhomes will include three to four bedrooms, garages, modern kitchens, landscaped yards, and hurricane impact windows. These locations are close to city centers, schools, churches, recreational and shopping amenities with easy access to transportation and major traffic corridors. The application process has four steps that includes a pre-qualification questionnaire, orientation, financial analysis review and face-to-face interview. First Baptist Fort Lauderdale, 301 E Broward Blvd, Fort Lauderdale will be holding A Night To Blossom on March 2 from 5 - 8 p.m. "A Night to Blossom" is a free event hosted by the Women's Ministry at First Baptist Fort Lauderdale. It's a night to celebrate the women in our community, to shine, and be a message of hope and unity. The night will be complete with an all-women owned pop-up boutique, worship music, giveaways, and speakers. There will also be an after-party on the Broward Plaza with music and mocktails.
