It’s rare that music, community, and purpose align so poignantly. FaithFest, an extraordinary festival hosted by 3rd Beat Studios, will not only celebrate faith and music but address a critical problem plaguing our society: the foster care crisis. Scheduled for September 30th at Pine Trails Amphitheater and Park in Parkland from 4 to 9 p.m., FaithFest will feature the melodies of leading local worship teams along with contemporary Christian music stars like Social Club Misfits, KJ-52 and Sam Llanes.

Experience powerful worship, inspiring speakers, and engaging activities for the whole family that will ignite your faith journey and help spread the simple yet powerful message that #everykid deserves a home.

Samuel Lllanes, CEO and Founder of 3rd Beat Studios, was inspired to host FaithFest 2023 after a presentation about the foster care crisis by 4KIDS of South Florida at Calvary Chapel Parkland where Pastor Steve Daigle and his wife are foster parents. Seeing the great need, Llanes said his excuses for not getting involved no longer seemed valid.

The foster care crisis

The statistics are alarming. Over 391,000 children are in foster care in the United States. A stunning one out of 30 American children face homelessness. The impact on these young lives is immeasurable, leading to a higher likelihood of depression, unemployment, homelessness and incarceration as they grow. By addressing the foster care issue, there’s a chance to heal many of the symptoms of dysfunction that afflict our society.

Known for his incredible rap talent and his stand for Jesus Christ, Sam Llanes embodies the spirit of FaithFest. “We believe that expressing our spirituality is intertwined with the mandate of James 1:27, which compels us to care for orphans and widows in their distress while leading lives uncorrupted by the world,” said Lllanes.

Tom Lukasik, vice president of community engagement at 4KIDS, said, “Sam is gloriously ruined for this cause! He and his wife have even begun the process to become foster parents themselves.”

Social Club Misfits

FaithFest plans to provide 4KIDS with a platform to spread awareness about the foster care crisis, raise funds and encourage families to get involved. So, join FaithFest and be part of the change, ensuring faith and love reach every child, every heart, every home.
