Fitness Challenge Raises $5000 for Foster Children

First Responder Team ChallengeLast month EMTs, firefighters, military, police officers and world-champion CrossFit athletes competed in the First Responder Team Challenge to benefit Place of Hope at the Haven Campus for foster children in western Boca Raton. The first-time event drew more than 100 fitness enthusiasts and raised nearly $5,000 to help meet the needs of Florida’s foster children.

“Raising children in a loving, nurturing environment is foundational to creating a solid community, so we are truly appreciative of the support given to us by friends like the Campbell-Held family,” said Place of Hope Executive Director Charles Bender
