Wilson and Samuel Metzger will play the Organ and Lisa Wilson will play the harpsichord.  Tickets are not needed.  Admission is free – an offering will be taken.

Along with the singing of the choir and soloists, the audience will be invited to sing along with the famous “Hallelujah” Chorus (music will be available).

Handel’s Messiah spans the whole redemptive message of Scripture:  the prophecy of Christ’s coming and His birth; His suffering and death; and His resurrection and eternal reign at the right hand of God. When Handel finished writing this great work in a space of only three weeks, he simply remarked, “I think God has visited me.”   Handel did revise parts of the oratorio at later times, but the bulk of the work remains as originally conceived.  It represents a high point of the Baroque period and has become an epic in oratorio literature and a masterpiece to the world today.

Be a part of the jubilant presentation as the New Presbyterian Church Concert Choir, Orchestra and Soloists under the direction of Dr. John L. Wilson as we continue the Christmas season with the performance of the glorious Messiah.
