ICEJ celebrates Israel’s 75th

How did they celebrate? The ICEJ published Every Generation’s Story: 75 Years of American Christian Engagement with Israel, comprised of the testimonies of 18 Christians spanning over 5 generations to highlight the fact that for 75 years now, Israel has been a blessing to millions of Christians who have been able to travel there and experience their Bible come alive.

On May 7, welcomed over 225 guests and 25 cosponsors to an evening of world-class musicians and keynote speaker Hananya Naftali from Prime Minister Netanyahu’s office during a Gala Dinner for Israel 75 in Nashville.

A Washington, DC Gala Dinner for Israel 75 was held on May 17 with over 340 guests and 30 cosponsors enjoying an inspiring and informative evening. Speakers included Israel’s Ambassador to the United States Michael Herzog and Former White House Envoy to the Middle East Jason Greenblatt.

An Israel Breakfast at the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Conference on May 24 sold-out, with 300 participants—both Jews and Christians—enjoying special music by ICEJ’s Vesna Buehler from Israel and a brilliant speech by Former Special Envoy for Monitoring and Combatting Antisemitism Elan Carr.

“Our honoring of Israel’s 75th was one way we are able to stand with the Jewish people and let them know that they are not alone,” said Susan Michael, ICEJ USA Director in an email. “The ICEJ has been taking such a stand on a global level for some 43 years now. We are standing up for the Jewish people in the face of rising antisemitism. We are blessing the people of Israel and letting them know they are not alone and that we represent the love and prayers of millions of Christians around the world.”
