Israel suffered a terrorist attack on October 7, 2023, that was ten times greater than 911 and the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. Over 200 Israelis are still being held hostage in Gaza while their fellow citizens have endured some 10,000 rockets fired out of Gaza and Lebanon aimed at their homes and cities. Over 120,000 Israelis are now displaced persons due to their communities either being destroyed or evacuated for security purposes.

ICEJ helps Israel

In response, staff of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) are working around the clock to bring urgent relief and encouragement to the traumatized people of Israel. The ICEJ is currently assisting evacuated Israeli families with housing, food, clothing, and emergency aid and distributing food to many elderly and needy families. They are providing helmets and protective vests to some 110 civilian volunteers in regional security services and supplying blankets and tents for IDF reservists. They are rushing to order more bomb shelters and refurbish or relocate existing shelters while raising funds to purchase ambulances.

The ICEJ’s global network of 95 national offices and activists in some 170 countries are standing up to defend Israel and combat the wave of antisemitic incitement now sweeping the globe. In addition to organizing rallies, the ICEJ is spearheading a global diplomatic effort to let Israel know she is not alone and to urge international leaders to do more to stand with Israel at this critical time. For example, the ICEJ USA branch secured signatures from over 100 American Christian leaders on letters addressed to the UN Secretary-General António Guterres and US President Joe Biden calling for the condemnation of the Hamas terrorist attack and the safe return of the hostages. They also issued a letter to over 300 presidents of universities asking them to combat antisemitism on their campus.

Your donations are greatly appreciated and will provide a witness of Christian love and support to the embattled people of Israel at this most critical moment. Visit icejusa.org to learn more.
