Love In the Name of Christ hosted a National Day of Prayer gathering on Thursday, May 4th at Community Christian Church, in Tamarac. Bill Davis, associate pastor, of Community Christian Church, welcomed those who came to pray, emphasizing the importance of unity in the body of Christ. 

Sherese James-Grow, executive director of Love In the Name of Christ, introduced each of the speakers who prayed for seven key prayer points: the power of prayer, the importance of the Word, the family unit, the younger generation, the local church, Christians in the marketplace, government leaders and the big Church.
