Candy Cohn, Beth Slossberg and Pam Polani

The 4
th Annual Alzheimer’s Luncheon recently took place at the Boca West Country Club, to benefit the Louis & Anne Green Memory and Wellness Center of the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing at Florida Atlantic University, the Alzheimer’s
Association and Alzheimer’s Community Care.  This was the first event ever that all three of these organizations combined forces to raise funds and awareness concerning dementia and Alzheimer’s in our community.

Candy Cohn, CSA, owner of Oasis Senior Advisers South Florida, member of the Brain Bowl Steering Committee as well as one of the event’s sponsors, raised more than $1500 for the event.

Nearly 900 business, community and political leaders attended, to network and support finding a cure for this horrific disease that affects so many South Florida residents. In Palm Beach County alone, an estimated 1 in 3 individuals, over the age of 65, is impacted by this devastating condition.

According to Ms. Cohn, CSA, “This is one of the best fundraising events for Alzheimer’s that I have ever been involved with. Pam Polani is an inspiring leader, and it is amazing that she was able to bring these three wonderful organizations together for the first time.”
