Mother’s Day Luncheon Raises Funds for Health Mothers Healthy Babies

On May 2nd Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward held their 30th Annual Mother’s Day Luncheon, raising a total of $130,977 thanks to incredible support from sponsors such as the Harry T. Mangurian Jr. Foundation and Memorial Healthcare System, as well as donors and attendees.

Mother’s Day Luncheon Notable Funders

Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies also recognized outstanding community members who have significantly contributed to the betterment of women, children, and families in Broward County. This group of individuals has each exemplified exceptional kindness, caring sacrifice, and generosity to families and children throughout the community. The honorees received the following awards: Lefkow Legacy Award: Melida Akiti; Father of the Year: Bill Feinberg; Mother of the Year: Amy Freund, Kate Goldman, Jessica Grenat, Heidi Alzate Kaufman, Dara Levan, Traci Miller, Dr. Amoy Reid, Dr. Sharetta Remikie, Jennifer Smith, and Cindy Teeto. There were also 27 Past Honorees in Attendance.
