New Spanish Christian Radio

WDJADid you know there is a brand new Christian radio station in South Florida that broadcasts completely in Spanish? WDJA 1420AM is the first and only Spanish-speaking Christian radio station in Palm Beach County. WDJA reaches the Hispanic-American community in South Florida with diverse programming, relevant local content, community outreach events and more. WDJA covers all of Palm Beach County and reaches into significant areas of Broward and Martin Counties as well. While the station broadcasts plenty of music, WDJA’s programming also includes a morning show, afternoon show, sports news, local and international news, and Christ-centered teaching programs designed to be relatable and effective tools for sharing encouraging Christian content with believers and non-believers alike.

WDJA is a brand new ministry, and although they have only been on the air for nine months, they have already seen God work in miraculous ways. When the station came on the market in 2011, the fair market value was in excess of $2 million. As it turned out, the inheriting owner did not have the time or the knowledge to maintain and administer the station. As a result, God opened the door for the station to be purchased for only $550,000, paving the way for thousands of Spanish-speaking South Florida residents to be reached with the gospel each and every day. WDJA has also been used by God far beyond the South Florida region. Through the station’s website audio streaming, there are listeners who regularly tune in from Mexico, Guatemala, Puerto Rico and even Sweden (through a Chilean pastor that has a Spanish-speaking church there).
WDJA also puts on local concerts, community outreaches, youth rallies and more in an effort to unite the Hispanic body of Christ locally. As Station Manager Pastor Cesar Sanchez shares, “We have a desire to give back to our community because we know Who has loved us and given us what we have. We feel compelled to share that which has been given to us by grace. Part of our mission and vision is to touch, in Jesus’ name, all we can, no matter their age, race, ethnicity or language.” Sanchez continues, “We’re just grateful that God looked on us with His grace and favor and entrusted us with this ministry.”
