OVER ONE HUNDRED COUPLES PLAN TO GET HITCHED IN GROUP WEDDING

Fort Lauderdale, Florida (February 25, 2014) – The weekend of March 8 and 9 will be one for the record books for Potential Church, as over a hundred couples plan to get married or renew their vows in front of family and friends. The church is offering couples a free group wedding and renewal ceremony, complete with photography, video and a reception to follow.

Lead Pastor Troy Gramling, who will be officiating the celebration, challenged couples to evaluate their relationships and decide to commit. This event caps off the church’s 5-week teaching series, Family Restoration, which focuses on bringing the life back to marriages and families.

“Many couples are dating without any underlying commitment,” said Gramling. “We’re encouraging them to assess their current status and figure out where they are heading. We’re happy to see that so many couples have stepped up and decided to commit to one another,” he added.

In addition to the wedding on Saturday at 5pm, a separate ceremony will take place on Sunday at 2:15pm for couples who want to renew their wedding vows. Both events will take place during regular services.
Pastor Troy Gramling has led Potential Church, a fast-growing, multi-site church, to an average weekly attendance of over 12,000 people across seven campuses (three national and four international), with the upcoming addition of an eighth campus in New York City. He is fueled by his passion and burden to partner with people to reach their God potential, as they connect with God, become like Christ and influence the world around them. Gramling excels in leadership development and is well known for his extreme creativity in designing unexpected worship and teaching experiences.
