NAMI Broward County & Smith Community Mental Health join together to bring awareness and education to mental wellness at a special panel at Awaken Church Fort Lauderdale, 1601 Lauderdale Manor Dr, Fort Lauderdale on September 25 from 1:30 - 3 p.m. The key panel speakers are Pete Kennedy, CEO of E.M.Y.L.L., Anthony Acampora, National Director of Faith-Based Services, Pastor Ryan Johnson, Awaken Church Ft. Lauderdale, and Blake E. Cohen, CAP. This is a FREE event.    

NAMI Broward County is hosting its Second Annual “Artful Minds” event at MAD Arts, 481 South Federal Highway, Dania Beach on May 6 from 1 - 4 p.m. Artful Minds will feature an exhibit showcasing the relationship between art and mental health through artwork in a variety of mediums, created by artists living with mental health challenges and mental wellness.
