Palm Beach Atlantic Announces Five Promotions in Student Development

Palm Beach Atlantic University recently announced the promotion of five employees to leadership positions in the Student Development office. Bob Lutz was promoted to assistant dean of students. In his new role, Lutz will oversee Residence Life and First Year/Transfer Experience, as well as continuing to lead the University’s Student Activities, Involvement and Leadership (SAIL) efforts. Dannemart Pierre has been named director of First Year/Transfer Experience. Pierre will report to the assistant dean of students. In her new role, Pierre will oversee programs, and Kathy Stauffer has been appointed assistant director of First Year/Transfer Experience. In her new role, she will continue to advise and advocate for transfer students as well as work with the director of First Year/Transfer Experience on projects for FYE and SOAR initiatives aimed at helping first-year and transfer students transition to college. Witfield Felix has been appointed director of Academic Support and Disability Services and also will oversee the Bridges program. Kara Wenger has been named assistant director of Residence Life. Wenger will report to the assistant dean of students. In her new role, Wenger will oversee the residential housing process while maintaining her responsibilities as a resident director.
