Place of Hope Honors Berlin Family at Hope Bash

_KPB6385Place of Hope celebrated its 15th year of serving foster children and a decade of hosting one of the season’s signature events at its 10th Annual Hope Bash. The gala fundraiser welcomed a sold-out crowd of more than 630 guests to PGA National Resort & Spa.  The theme of “Celebrating Hope for the Future” was illustrated with futuristic décor and glowing centerpieces that told the story of how many children benefit from Place of Hope.

“Every year, over 1,000 children in Palm Beach County are removed from their homes. Every child deserves hope,” was the message displayed on every table. Michelle Grande, co-owner of Event Kings and a long-time volunteer to Place of Hope, was honored with her family, with the Harris L. Weinstein Hero of Hope Award given to people who generously give their time, resources and energy in support of Place of Hope’s mission.

The evening also featured a presentation by Villages of Hope alum David Sarris – now a Habitat for Humanity homeowner, a live and silent auction, dinner and dancing, and a special Bid from the Heart.
