Broward Health North hosted a remembrance ceremony to honor the victims and all those who were impacted by the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School tragedy on the fifth anniversary. In addition to healthcare providers that cared for MSD shooting victims, Broward Health North hospital leaders and staff, members of Pompano Beach Fire Rescue, Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) and BSO Fire Rescue were in attendance.

Broward Health Honors Marjory Stoneman Douglas High Victims

Dr. Evan Boyar, Chief of Staff and Chief of Emergency Medicine at Broward Health North, spoke about his experience caring for the victims, and BSO Chaplain Darren Bennett led attendees in prayer before a moment of silence was held.
