Rotary Club of Delray Beach Celebrates 70 Years in Delray Beach

Rotary Roots Celebration 2018 celebrated the 70 years of service of The Rotary Club of Delray Beach. This event benefited the Rotary’s Service Project, where the Rotary Club will plant 70 trees throughout Delray to honor its 70 years of service in conjunction with local organization, Community Greening. Seventy trees will be planted in local Bexley Park located off Military Trail.

Over 100 attended the event including many dignitaries, politicians, police officers, mayors and more.

Jessica Rosato, Delray Beach Rotary Membership Chair & Board Member, said, “What an amazing event! It is such an honor to be part of such a community oriented organization dedicated to making Delray Beach a better place to live. We loved being able to partner with Community Greening in effort to help the environment and increase the tree canopy percentage in Bexley Park. Celebrating 70 years with 70 planted trees was such an innovative idea, and one that I was truly excited to be a part of!”
