A generous group of women and men attended the StrikeForce 421 Gather and Give Breakfast at the Lauderdale Yacht Club on November 9 to learn more about the incredible work being done for the Lord in South Florida.
Strikeforce 421 Semi-Finalists
This season’s grant semi-finalists were announced during the breakfast, including
- CityHouse, a ministry providing housing and services to single mothers and children facing homelessness in Florida.
- Knox Theological Seminary, a ministry equipping pastors and lay people to proclaim the gospel.
- Lighthouse 4Students, an in-school and after school mentoring program for youth.
- Sheridan House Family Ministries, a ministry serving children and families, with a focus on single moms in need.
- Women’s Soul Care Cohorts, powered by Church United, a transformational experience investing in the health and wholeness of women and wives in ministry.
- Wondherful, provides LifeBoxes and educational programing to prayerfully prevent suicide, because one more suicide is one too many.
As South Florida’s first Christian women’s giving circle, StrikeForce 421 Pledge Partners give $1,000 or more each year, which is pooled together and then 100 percent of funds collected are given away to worthy nonprofits in the community. They have an ambitious goal of raising $250,000 to fully fund each of these semi-finalists!
You can get to know these impactful ministries, including more about their specific grant requests, by participating in site visits, which will be hosted on Wednesdays at 12 PM on Zoom, from January 24th through February 28th.
