On Friday, March 11th, StrikeForce 421 reached their God-sized goal of giving away their 1 Millionth Dollar to Christian ministries in South Florida in an effort to shine the light of Christ a little brighter in our region. The final grant rewards were announced during their Spring Grant Awards Celebration at the Grateful Palate.

A community of pledge partners who pool their resources in order to have a greater impact, StrikeForce 421 is a giving circle whose partners believe in radical, life-changing generosity for both the givers and the recipients.

Recipients of the Millionth Dollar Grant

This season’s grant recipients include:

Be Strong – Be Strong received a grant of $39,746.40 to scale the Be Strong representative program in Broward County. Be Strong’s mission is to save and improve the lives of our youth using a peer-to-peer approach by strengthening mental, emotional, and relational health, building resilience, and preventing bullying. Heart2Heart Outreach of South Florida – Heart2Heart received a grant of $69,450 to deliver fresh and nutritious meals to South Florida seniors while offering comfort and support to the isolated elderly through a partnership with Offerdahl’s Hand-Off Foundation. Ema (Every Mother’s Advocate) – Ema received a grant of $55,000 to build a scalable model that equips pregnancy health clinics and churches with EMA’s court-approved prevention program that empowers mothers and children in crisis to achieve lasting stability. God Behind Bars – God Behind Bars requested a grant of $180,000 to launch the Pando app on tablets for South Florida inmates, providing them access to sermons and worship music while incarcerated.
