TIU Embarks on a new journey for 2011 – Distinguished author and scholar fulfills new role

Trinity International University, alongside University President Williford, is pleased to announce a new Executive Director and Associate Dean for the school’s Florida Regional Center. Dr. Scott McClelland has filled these positions starting as of a few weeks ago, at the beginning of the new year. An accomplished author and scholar, Dr. McClelland earned his BA and MA from Wheaton College, went on to earn a ThM from Westminister Theological Seminary and completed his PhD in New Testament from the University of Edinburgh.

Dr. McCelland brings to Trinity International University his successful administrative experience in areas of operations, advancement and community partnerships.  He has also served on the faculty at Westmont College, The King’s College (NY), and Fuller Theological Seminary. Dr. McClelland is an ordained minister with the Evangelical Free Church of America serving as a Senior Pastor in New York and California.

Trinity International University is excited to embark on this new journey with Dr. McClelland and his wife Louise, who have moved to Florida for the position from San Francisco.
