Inspiring Movies Coming Soon

Faith-based films touch and change lives, inspire and encourage believers and also provide a special opportunity for an uplifting experience for our families. Thankfully, this season will see a wide variety of films coming to theaters. Groups from churches and other organizations can make going to see the films in theaters a fun and inspiring activity as well as an outreach, since people who are hesitant to come to church might accept an invitation to see a movie. We can all get involved by praying for and spreading the word about these upcoming films.     Upcoming Faith-Based Releases  Check each […]

Jesus, Only Jesus – Song Story

Fifteen attempts and nothing. This song’s theme is too broad and it won’t work. The task is too much. The spiritual weight, too heavy. How could a song be written about a revival that would usher in a move of God? What message could contain the power of repentance? As Village Hymns set out to write this song called “Jesus, Only Jesus,” these were the questions burning in our bones. Jesus comes Quickly, Jesus swooped in and redirected our questions. With His gentle voice, He reminded us of His power and His might. He placed His books on history in […]

Faith-Based Films Are Returning to Theaters

The last major faith-based film in theaters was “I Still Believe,” an Erwin Brothers production about the inspiring true love story of Christian singer/song-writer Jeremy Camp and his wife Melissa – a story demonstrating hope in the midst of life’s storms. God called me to pursue filmmaking around the beginning of my high school career at CCA. I accidentally took a film class due to the cancellation of another class, and I can only say this was the hand […]

This movie is being promoted as a love story, but Jeremy and Melissa’s story is so much more. It is in the midst of this struggle that, not only is their faith tested, but also the degree of Jeremy’s commitment to Melissa. As Tom […]
