Total Comfort Air Conditioning Makes Service Top Priority

Joe Sedeyn, president of Total Comfort Air Conditioning, Inc., has been in the air conditioning business in South Florida for 38 years and a faithful supporter of the Good News for eight years.

While providing sales and service to residential and commercial customers, he strives to be honest, dependable, trustworthy and faithful to God’s calling as a Christian.

Joe started out as an air conditioning mechanic in New Jersey at a young age. Eventually he became the manager of the AC division of a large company before starting his own business. Joe moved to Florida in 1976 and immediately went into business here in Coral Springs, starting from scratch and building a successful business with the proverbial blood, sweat and tears.

Joe is a member of the State of Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board and the U.S. Bowling Congress. He is also an elder at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale where he is involved in service oversight, is a small group leader and assists in the benevolence ministry. He supports Compassion International, 4KIDS of South Florida, Samaritan’s Purse and Dalit Freedom International. When he is not working or serving, you may find him bowling, as he is a member of a bowling league. He is also an avid Florida State University football fan.

Raised in Cedarville, New Jersey, Joe attended trade school. He and his wife, Lorraine, have an adult daughter and five grandchildren. Their son passed away at 26, and Joe said, “The death of my 26-year-old son revealed to me how precious and fleeting life is and that we should live each day to the fullest to glorify God.

His favorite Bible verse is 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 that reminds us that “those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God” but you can be “made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

According to Joe, his ultimate goal is that “as I live my life and provide service to people, they will see the love of Christ through me. My wife and I feel that our business belongs to the Lord and is an extension of who we are and how we live our lives.”
