Urgent Care Partnership Expands PBA Student Health Services

Responding to a growing trend among independent colleges, Palm Beach Atlantic University has established a partnership with Jupiter Medical Center to provide all students with enhanced urgent care services featuring extended operating hours, on-site imaging and testing facilities, and access to top health care providers in the area.

Located about a mile from campus at 625 North Flagler Drive, the facility operated by the prestigious Jupiter Medical Center will serve campus residents, commuters, athletes, evening and graduate students, according to Dean of Students Bob Lutz. Free valet parking is available, and the center can be reached by foot or bike within minutes. Jupiter Medical Center Urgent Care provides walk-in care Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Sundays and holidays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“This select partnership will enhance the student experience and expand the services offered,” Lutz said. “As we want students to thrive now and in the future, the University is open to collaborating with outstanding organizations, such as Jupiter Medical Center, which specializes in these services.”

Jupiter Medical Center Urgent Care addresses a variety of health concerns, including common colds, the flu, sinus infections, cuts, burns, sprains, strains and more. The center also provides on-site laboratory testing, digital X-rays and additional services to enable the rapid diagnosis and treatment of urgent medical conditions and minor emergencies. Services to support healthier living are also available, such as immunizations, including flu shots, travel vaccines or preoperative clearance.
