2020 Christian Business Conference & Expo

After months of planning and meetings, I’m reminded of the once popular television program, the A-Team, and that familiar smile at the end of each episode: “I love it when a plan comes together.”

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near” (Hebrews 10:24-25 ESV).

For a first 2020 Christian Business Expo hosted at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, Saturday, January 11th, it was simply amazing for a first time effort. My thanks and admiration to Chad Richard for his indefatigable high energy and outstanding abilities, vision and leadership for pulling this together!

We set a high bar with a capacity for 80 vendor booths and closed at 87 (we found more space). The Christian-owned businesses who exhibited were thrilled with GOD’S favor and all had glowing remarks at Expo’s end. With the awesome size of the crowd, over a thousand attendees were engaging the vendors and almost to a person, they said, “Let’s do this again and soon!”

The Speakers were all outstanding and hosted in presentation by Stephan Tchividjian, kicked off with Bob Doll as the Keynote Speaker, followed by Ken McKenzie and joined in panel style by Ginger Martin and Roy Moore.

It takes a Village. Many thanks for the Amazing Calvary staff for their enthusiasm and expertise in every area; Executive Pastor Paul Walker, Pastor Tony Davis, Denise Trio, Deanna Cruz, Romina Cherven, Rod Pearcy, Katy Mills, Gerard Bross, Doug Rasku and Owen Cisco.

The LeaderShare Team: Suzanne Breistol, David Byrd, Roy Moore, Tim DiPietropolo and Les Feldman. And the Good News Team of Shelly Pond, Al Lehman, Buddy Hellend and Robyn Wilk.

Please look for companion pictures of the event on pages 26 and 27.

Until next month.

I am grateful.

Les
