Hope Women’s Centers hosted a spectacular 2019 Legacy Partners Dinner on April 12 at Pier-66 Hotel and Marina. The night was classic and elegant with 500 people in attendance. Abby Johnson, former Director of Planned Parenthood and nationally best-selling author of “Unplanned” was the keynote speaker. The president of the board, Judy Ryan honored former Executive Directors, including Nancy McDonald, Margy Richardson and Dottie Wobb. The baton of Executive Director was then passed to Ariana Reid. They highlighted Hope Women’s Centers impact in 2018 and cast the vision for 2019.

Because of those that financially gave and the work of staff and volunteers who encourage and equip women and men to make informed decisions regarding unplanned pregnancies every day, over 1600 (85%) of patients changed their minds about abortion in 2018 after visiting Hope Women’s Centers. That number jumps to 90% when the father sees his baby during the ultrasound. As the organizations moves forward in 2019, they are looking to grow their Men of Hope team.
