Hope Women’s Centers celebrated their first Hope Day on February 8th at Central Broward Regional Park. There were over 100 former and current patients and their children that came out for a day of celebration and fun! There was food, bounce houses, snow cones, and partnering organizations. When the sun sets, the Museum comes alive – with young professionals. In November, the Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) hosted another of its adults-only event series. Discovery After Dark: “MODS Makes,” a science-themed soirée where guests had the opportunity to explore the new Leighton Family Hangar, hands-on STEM experiences, and augmented reality with Magic Leap Technology. The Salvation Army of Broward County Red Kettle and Holiday Kick Off began November 22nd. This year, the nonprofit organization launched its recognizable Red Kettle #FightForGood holiday campaign with a new way to give via digital donations.
