On Tuesday, March 26th, Jazwares, a global leader in toys, plush, collectibles, musical instruments, and consumer electronics; and Xtreme Action Park, teamed up with Miami Dolphins Wide Receiver Albert Wilson, and hosted the Russ™ Make Someone Happy Event™. More than 250 foster and under-served children from ChildNet, HANDY, The Crockett Foundation, Children’s Harbor and Children’s Home Society attended the event.

Xtreme Action Park opened its doors one hour early to exclusively allow the children to participate in a morning of unlimited arcade games and a special Meet & Greet Lunch with Albert Wilson.  The children also received Russ™ Plush Toys from Jazwares, lunch from MOD Pizza and LIME Fresh Mexican Grill, dessert from IT’SUGAR and Hoffman’s Chocolates, and photos from FunClick.  The children enjoyed a day of arcades, basketball and danced to the music of DJ Groove.

During lunch, Wilson spoke to the youth about his journey growing up in the foster care system and how it has shaped who he is today. The entire event was an incredible experience for all of the children.
