Feeding South Florida® – the leading hunger-relief organization in South Florida – has teamed up with InterMiami CF and Publix for a Veterans Appreciation Luncheon at DRV PNK Stadium, 1350 NW 55th Street, Fort Lauderdale on November 11 at 11 a.m. Veterans from all branches of the military are invited to enjoy an afternoon including a chef-prepared meal, live entertainment and special recognition. The 47th Annual Carbonell Awards Ceremony will be held at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center, 3800 NW 11th Place, Lauderhill on November 11 from 7:30 - 10:30 p.m. At this upcoming ceremony—which is South Florida’s glittery version of the Tony Awards—Carbonell Awards will be presented in 20 competitive categories along with six Special Awards. During the 2023-2024 theater seasons, nearly 90 productions at 30 different theatres were evaluated by a diverse group of more than 40 judges representing all three participating counties (Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach).
