On November 11, Liberty Counsel Founders Mathew Staver, senior pastor and chairman; and Anita L. Staver, president, reflected on God’s abundant blessing on the ministry during a fellowship luncheon at Ruth Chris Steakhouse attended by dedicated partners and friends. During the event, Mat Staver updated attendees on recent successes and setbacks, while sharing their mission.

Liberty counsel is a Christian ministry that proclaims, advocates, supports, advances and defends the good news of Jesus Christ through education and strategic litigation. Their mission is to restore the culture by advancing religious freedom, the sanctity of human life and the family.

Staver pointed to several court cases they have litigated that are creating legal precedents that will last for generations. He also shared information on their Faith & Liberty ministry in Washington, D.C., that is solely dedicated to providing Bible studies, worship, prayer, fellowship and discipleship to people in every branch and agency of the federal and local government.
