    On Tuesday, April 17, The Home Depot Foundation partnered with Rebuilding Together Broward County to transform a former church into the future HOPE South Florida community center for homeless citizens and veterans. Projects helped transform the sanctuary into a multi-purpose dining and education room, and outfit offices for the entire HOPE and HOPE4Vets staff.   Dr. Rosby Glover was honored as the 2018  Recipient of the Alan and Marsha Levy Champion of Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Award in gratitude for his lifelong efforts to help keep kids safe.  The award was sponsored by Broward Aware and presented by Honorable Judge Kenneth Gillespi. Speaking as one voice, representatives of Church United, hosted a community prayer vigil for Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Thursday, February 15. Students, friends and family gathered on the lawn at Parkridge Church located just one mile from the scene of the horrific shooting that took the lives of 14 students and three adults so abruptly and left our community in mourning.
