U.S. News Ranks Palm Beach Atlantic Among Best in South

Palm Beach Atlantic University climbed five spots in the respected U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges 2019 edition. The University placed 52nd among the best universities in the South in the rankings released September 10.

The publication includes rankings of more than 1,800 schools nationwide.

The 2019 ranking places Palm Beach Atlantic tied with Coastal Carolina (South Carolina), Columbia College (South Carolina) and Wingate University (North Carolina) in the top tier of regional universities in the South.

“As we enter our 50th year, PBA celebrates the vision of our founders whose dream to establish a Christ-first university in South Florida has flourished producing outstanding graduates who are leaders in their workplaces and in their communities” said President William M.B. Fleming, Jr. “We look forward to another banner year with strong enrollment and sound financial footing.”

In addition, U.S. News ranked Palm Beach Atlantic #34 (tie) among Best Colleges for Veterans, # 38 in Best Value Schools and #16 (tie) in Most Innovative Schools.

U.S. News gathers data from each college on key indicators of academic excellence. Each factor is assigned a weight that reflects a judgment about how much a measure matters. Finally, the colleges and universities in each category are ranked against their peers, based on their composite weighted score.
