Based on Jules Verne’s 1870 classic, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, this exhibition brings to life the adventures of Captain Nemo, his fantastical Nautilus submarine and the mythical world he inhabited. The Museum of Discovery and Science, 401 SW 2nd St, Fort Lauderdale will be holding the opening of newest childhood exhibit, Discovery Spot on August 4 at 10 a.m. The highly anticipated exhibit, presented by JM Family Enterprises, will encompass 4,000 square feet of Museum space, and will allow young scientists (ages 0-6) and their families to explore the wonder of Florida’s ecosystems.
