After a two-year hiatus, the highly anticipated 11th Annual Community Care Plan Non-Profit Awards presented by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood returned bigger than ever. More than 600 local notables, community leaders and members of the non-profit sector joined together at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood on Thursday, March 3rd to celebrate the inspiring work of Broward County’s non-profit agencies and to recognize the individual efforts of outstanding non-profit executive and board leaders. Over the years, 211 Broward has granted more than $244,000 back to non-profits through this event.

The winners of each of the 211 award categories were announced, each receiving an award and $1,000 for their non-profit organization. The finalists in each category were awarded $500. Winners were chosen for their dedication to Broward County and the impact they have on the community by a panel of impartial judges from the Tri-County area. Larry Rein, Chief Executive Officer and President of ChildNet, received the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award for his exceptional contributions to the non- profit sector and Josie Bacallao, former President & CEO of Hispanic Unity of Florida, received the 211 Broward Excellence Award.

Children’s Services Council of Broward County Collective Impact for Youth Award – Flite Center
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award Honoree – Larry Rein, Chief Executive Officer and President of ChildNet
211 Broward Non-Profit Organization Development Executive of the Year Award – Jessica Vones, Children’s Diagnostic Treatment Center
FPL Non-Profit Organization Board Leader of the Year Award – Merick Lewin, Take Stock in Children
211 Broward Non-Profit Organization Staff Leader of the Year Award – Anthony J. Karrat, Esq., Legal Aid Service of Broward County
211 Broward Excellence Award – Josie Bacallao, former President & CEO of Hispanic Unity of Florida
