On the second Saturday of every month from 7 to 11 a.m., volunteers meet at Charnow Park to collect litter and cigarette butts from Hollywood Beach. The next Hollywood Beach Sweep event will be held on Saturday, May 9th. Water, gloves & bags are provided. Please wear closed-toe shoes. Free Parking from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Kids and anyone else interested can get community service hours for participating; we get a clean beach. Charnow Park is located between Garfield Street and Connecticut Street on Hollywood Beach at 300 Connecticut Street, Hollywood.
