Franklin Graham: God’s Word Is Always True

Two years ago, we held an evangelistic Crusade in the seaside town of Blackpool, England. Nine thousand people came to hear us proclaim the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hundreds made confessions of faith! This was in spite of intense opposition from the LGBTQ community, which objected to the advertising message on public transportation buses. The ads simply said “Time for Hope.” The gay activists were successful at the time in pressuring officials to remove our ads from the sides of the buses. However, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association coordinated with the Lancashire Festival trustees to take the matter […]

Dr. Gene L. Green: Seek the Welfare of the City

“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers” (Galatians 6:10).   “Submit to every human authority because of the Lord, whether to the emperor as the supreme authority or to governors as those sent out by him to punish those who do what is evil and to praise those who do what is good. For it is God’s will that you silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing good” (1 Peter 2:13-15).   Both Paul and Peter encouraged believers of their day to “do good” […]

Rob Hoskins: Education Is Mission

As churches look to the changing landscape of the future, explosion of choice is clouding a clear sightline. With so many opportunities for ministry, how do you choose what will make a lasting impact? Psychologist Barry Schwartz describes the shackles freedom of choice binds us with in his book The Paradox of Choice. “… choice no longer liberates, but debilitates…But clinging tenaciously to all the choices available to us contributes to bad decisions, to anxiety, stress, and dissatisfaction…” Let me highlight what I believe is one of the most critical dimensions of mission activity in the world today. It’s the […]

Josh Bramos: God’s Presence Quantized

Have you heard it said, “The worship leader ushers us into the presence of God?” Well if that’s true then the abundance or lack of God’s presence falls solely on the minister of music. Along with      other crafty human phrases that are also false, like the above one, we are met with two very mysterious questions: What does the presence of God look like? And what system should I learn  to encounter him every time, without fail? What do Moses, the High Priest, and Jesus have in common? All three, and of course many more    in the […]

Americans Unite to Pray on May 6

Americans from all walks of life will gather on May 6th to lift up our country in prayer on the National Day of Prayer. Our nation has endured a year marked by unprecedented challenges, but we know prayer has carried us through these days and the hand of God will move us into a brighter future. History of the Day to Pray This year marks 70 years since Reverend Billy Graham stood on the capitol steps in February 1952 and called for congress and the president to establish a day of prayer. By April of that year, President Truman signed […]

Franklin Graham: We Stand on the Gospel

How do YOU stand on the Gospel. Leave a comment below. As I write this, the United States Senate is deliberating one of the most dangerous pieces of legislation in my lifetime. If it becomes law, the outcome will be a full-frontal attack by federal authorities to remove any vestige of Biblical Christian faith from the public square. Labeled the Equality Act, this despicable bill is anything but that. Instead of equality, it could forever tip the scales of justice against the Judeo-Christian beliefs that have undergirded our nation — and most of Western civilization — for centuries. Christians, churches […]

Franklin Graham: The Voice of God Can Never Be Canceled

Leave a comment below on cancel culture. Madness is sweeping across our country.  I am referring to the ever-widening spread of what has been dubbed cancel culture, the suppression and intolerance of people whose viewpoints differ from what our godless society has deemed fitting and appropriate.  Not surprisingly, the overwhelmingly left-wing cancel culture has aimed its most vicious verbal darts squarely at Christians who hold a Biblical worldview founded on the authority of God’s uncompromising Word.  Let me give you just a few examples, though there are many.  In the city of Boston, a Chick-fil-A food truck serving the campus […]

Dr. Gene L. Green: The Last Enemy

Tom just died.  I spoke to Paul last night, Tom’s brother and my good friend for many years. A few months ago, Paul let me know that Tom was in a losing battle against cancer. Although his passing was expected, it was hardly welcome. Paul lost his brother, his sister Barb is weeping, and their youngest brother David is hurting. Tom’s son heads up the COVID wing at a major hospital in California. Paul recounted his stories about the agony of seeing so many die this past year, separated from family yet with faithful nurses and doctors gathered around.  All […]

Rob Hoskins: Corporate Prayer: Worth The Investment

For a few hours every year, the daily work of OneHope’s ministry comes to an abrupt halt. An intentional pause and recalibration. The OneHope team participates in corporate times of prayer. Although these gatherings cost thousands of dollars in manpower, they are undoubtedly worth the return on investment.  We meet to publicly glorify God and acknowledge His Lordship. This cultivates humility in our hearts and redirects us back to the Lord we serve and the mission He has given us.  The OneHope team works across many time zones and in an array of different ministry contexts. Prayer unifies us. We […]

Stephan N. Tchividjian: Crumbs

There is a saying we have all heard: “Is the glass half full or half empty?” The beauty of that saying is that it hinges on perspective. The essence of the word picture is that a glass, filled halfway with water, can be perceived as almost full or almost empty. There are times in my life that I see things from both perspectives. Half empty triggers in me a sense of scarcity, implying that things will get progressively more challenging with less available resources. Half full triggers a sense of abundance, implying that things will get progressively better because resources […]
