Franklin Graham: Resurrection and Revival

Just a few weeks ago, I had the privilege of filming an Easter message while standing in front of the famous Colosseum in Rome.  It was the same Colosseum where countless Christians were martyred by a brutal government that persecuted and slaughtered followers of Christ, and the same city where apostles Paul and Peter were both executed for their allegiance to the Lord.  They died in faith, however, trusting in a living Savior who had borne their sins on the cross, was buried in a stone tomb, and was raised to life on the third day. It was the power […]

A Christian Manifesto: The Challenge to the Church in Times of Upheaval

We Appear to Live in Revolutionary Times Public trust in the ancient foundations of the Western social and political order is shaking noticeably, anticipating a state of massive upheaval, if not complete collapse. The loss of public confidence in our institutions is both shocking and pervasive. Many express a loss of confidence in both the legal fidelity and equity of our courts. Post COVID 19, many question the scientific and rational objectivity of the medical community. We face the issue of financial insolvency in an era of fiat currencies and confront unsustainable debt coupled with collapsing private pension, public insurance […]

Students Learn a Financial Goal Without an Action Plan ‘Is Just a Wish’

These are exciting times at Palm Beach Atlantic University, as we review architects’ plans for the Marshall and Vera Lea Rinker Business Building. Our excitement rises even higher when we consider how the new building will allow us to expand impactful business programs and courses taught by engaging professors such as Barbara VanderWerf. “Professor VanderWerf is one of my favorites,” said finance major Emily Kintz. “I just really love her teaching style. She’s very focused on making connections with each student individually.” Emily, a senior, had enjoyed several courses under Barbara, who is assistant professor of management. Now, in her […]

Waging a Valiant War and Destroying Strongholds

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). “All my life I had to fight.
