Luncheon Raises Awareness Concerning Dementia and Alzheimer’s

The 4th Annual Alzheimer’s Luncheon recently took place at the Boca West Country Club, to benefit the Louis & Anne Green Memory and Wellness Center of the Christine E. Adopt-A-School Tailgate Party Raises Over $90,000

  Gregg Wallick, President of Best Roofing, received an Award of Appreciation for his service as the Chairman of the Board of the Broward Chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes during their Adopt-A-School Tailgate Party held at Banyan Air’s Hanger at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport on February 27. The Legend Bobby Bowden was the featured speaker at the event, which encouraged supporters to support FCA as they minister to student athletes in Broward schools. Over 500 people attended the event, which raised over $90,000 to sponsor coaches and student athletes in summer camp programs.

Place of Hope Staff to Educate Young People on Human Trafficking

  Place of Hope, Palm Beach County’s largest children’s organization; the Boca West Children’s Foundation; and other partners are fighting to interrupt the recruitment of more young people into the human trafficking system with another weapon – face-to-face education.   On Tuesday, February 13, Westminster Academy’s FIRST Robotics Team 744 traveled to Tallahassee to participate in STEM Day at the Capitol with leaders from science centers and museums from around the state, the Orlando Science Center, and the Motorola Solutions Foundation.
