The National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) launched a new national campaign in July to help congregations “show and share God’s love” for their pastors in creative and practical ways. The Bless Your Pastor (BlessYourPastor.org) campaign is part of a larger initiative to address financial challenges faced by pastors and is funded by a $1 million, 3-year grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. Students Share Their Faith in the South Pacific

Students and leaders from Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church traveled to the island nation of Fiji for two weeks in July on their 2019 Fiji Student Missions Trip. Christian Workplaces Institute honored eighty-nine organizations, churches, and Christian-led businesses as “Certified Best Christian Workplaces” from January-June 2019. Of the 89 new honorees based primarily in the U.S. and Canada, three are from South Florida: 4KIDS of South Florida, Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale and Calvary Christian Academy. Calvary Christian Academy Graduates Entering Military Academies

Three seniors graduating from Calvary Christian Academy will be entering military service academies in the fall. Jack Farley has been accepted to West Point Military Academy in West Point, New York. Jonathan Hardy will attend the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut, and Daniel Jones plans to enter the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. The three students received special recognition for their accomplishments during their graduation ceremony in May.
