Pastor Greg Laurie, of Harvest Christian Fellowship, held a baptism on July 8 at Pirates Cove Beach, the location of the “Jesus Movement” baptisms in the 1960s in Corona Del Mar, Calif., and more than 4,500 people showed up to participate. The Broward Health Foundation raised more than $1.3 million at the Mohsin and Fauzia Jaffer Foundation Broward Health Ball presented by Amazon. Broward Health Ball Record This is the largest amount of money raised in the 10-year history of the Broward Health Ball.
