Hope South Florida celebrated the birthdays of the children of the families they serve in August. Each child with birthdays in June, July and August, along with their siblings and parents, were invited to Skyzone with a wonderful lunch, then back to HOPE for more fun, crafts, dancing, cake and presents. Food For The Poor is partnering with Minuto de Dios, a Colombian nonprofit organization, to bring relief to families in Colombia, including tens of thousands of Venezuelan migrants who have fled to escape shortages of food, water and medicine. As many as 30,000 a people a day from Venezuela pass through the Colombian border city of Cucuta. Some only stay for a day to buy food and medicine and then return to Venezuela. Billy Graham Rapid Response Team Chaplains Respond to Mass Shootings

Chaplains on the Move! Teams of crisis-trained chaplains with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (RRT) are on their way to El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, following a pair of shootings over the weekend. News reports say 20 people have died and 26 others were injured in El Paso. In Dayton, an additional nine people were killed and 26 people were hurt.
