More Than 50 Boats Participate in Fish For Hope KDW Tournament

After weeks of rain the sun was shining on Place of Hope’s Third Annual Fish for Hope KDW Tournament on June 9. The fundraising event welcomed 53 boats and 40 sponsors to Sailfish Marina. Competitors fished not only to win fantastic prizes but also to support individual children in Place of Hope’s care. Adopt-A-School Tailgate Party Raises Over $90,000

  Gregg Wallick, President of Best Roofing, received an Award of Appreciation for his service as the Chairman of the Board of the Broward Chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes during their Adopt-A-School Tailgate Party held at Banyan Air’s Hanger at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport on February 27. The Legend Bobby Bowden was the featured speaker at the event, which encouraged supporters to support FCA as they minister to student athletes in Broward schools.
