What does it mean to be One Nation Under God?

Katy, TX – Is the United States still one nation under God? This is the vital question asked by Richard Capriola in his upcoming book, ‘A Nation Under Judgment’ to be released in April of 2014. Using his signature style – simple and effective – Capriola outlines our nation’s social policies and contrasts them with what he believes is God’s point of view from Scripture. Reviewing policies such as hunger, poverty, homelessness, the environment, and income inequality among others Capriola challenges his readers to examine these issues and compare them to God’s perspective. Learning to Have Self Control

A question from my radio program, Ask the Counselor: Q: How can I gain the ability to control myself and not make a mess of things by just speaking and acting on impulse? No More Scrubbing – My Story of Sexual Exploitation

By: Julie Woodley As I write this, I’m filled with words that have been locked up in me for so long: I cry like a child, I tremble, and I remember those horrible memories. I choose to have the courage to unleash these words because so many individuals need to hear the heart’s cry of those that have been sexually exploited. I know God can use my tears, pain, and horrific memories to help my other sweet sisters have a voice as well and know that they are loved. My deepest desire is that those affected by sexual exploitation live […]
